Preparing Arlington Public Schools for the Future

Ensuring that all children are reading on grade level before third grade

Providing personalized learning experience for every child, capitalizing on digital and non-digital content

Updating admission and transfer policies – providing families equitable access to neighborhood and option programs

Implementing an inclusive educational environment – that encourages high expectations for all students

Expanding Pre-K opportunities for all families. Continuing APS' partnership with The Children's School and Integration Station.

Continuing ongoing diversity and enrichment programs

Prioritizing immediate strategy to address capacity - 10-year Capital Improvement Plan provides additional capacity at every grade level

Implementing long-term strategy for enrollment growth - efficient use of Arlington’s limited space and resources including the possibility of a Fourth Comprehensive High School

Establishing Joint County/School Board Land Acquisition Fund – Maximizing existing facilities and identifying opportunities to expand green and field space
